Clare Langan - The Winter of 13 Storms 2017
I didn't realize this until we had our master class with Clare, but my new work does have references to this piece by Clare, called The Winter of 13 Storms. The flowing material and the performance element all have hidden memories to my work through research which must be unconscious. Bill voila has always been one of my references and I thought that his film work of the two women walking in slow motion was where I got this idea from, none the less both are incredible artists.
