Infertility affects up to 15% of reproductive-aged couples worldwide
This is a staggering amount of people and with this amount of society being affected by this topic I would have thought that this might be tackled on a regular basis, yet you rarely see this topic being looked at in contemporary art?
So this is why I will be using the word Infertility in my artists statement as I believe this is feeding society exactly what they want by keeping quiet or the lid on a topic that people are uncomfortable.
